SUPPORT KSAALT AND HELP IT GROW!

There are several ways in which to help KSAALT grow, and all of them are easy to do.

You can always:

• distribute KSAALT event information at your institution

• bring a friend to KSAALT events as a visitor

• bring a friend to KSAALT to join as a new member

• submit items to KSAALT News

• promote the 3rd Annual KSAALT Conference

• become involved with one of the KSAALT Committees

(Conference, membership, Publication or Social)

These are just a few ideas that would help KSAALT not only grow, but also have more meaning in your life. We need your input!

 

 

 

 

CONTRIBUTE TO THE KSAALT NEWS

 

You can make the KSAALT Quarterly what you want simply by contributing content for each issue. The following FAQ's tell you how.

1. Who can contribute?

 

Any registered member of KSAALT can submit items for inclusion in the newsletter.

 

2. What can I contribute?

 

You could write an article of 150 - 225 words on best teaching practices, current trends or research, or personal experiences in language teaching. Information about job opportunities is always welcome, as is information about other professional events in the region or elsewhere.

 

3. When can I contribute?

 

KSAALT Quarterly is published in March, June, September and December. Contributions should be submitted no later that the 20th of the month preceding publication (e.g., February 20th is the deadline for the March issue)

 

4. Where and how can I contribute?

 

Send your items to the KSAALT editor, Waisi El-Hassan, via email: KSAALTpubMatters@hotmail.com

 

5. Why should I contribute?

 

It's always good to have members share and participate in the body of knowledge that is language pedagogy. Furthermore, writing for the newsletter gives you a chance to publish your thoughts related to language learning.
